Hello SMK Families!

My name is Jessica Pinnick and I am so excited to be a part of the SMK family this year. I was raised in the Knobs surrounded by my very large family and loved every minute of it! I graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2017 with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

I pride myself on being a “hands-on” teacher in the classroom and cultivate an environment of creativity and individual learning opportunities for my students. I believe that every student can learn in their own way with the right guidance, patience, and understanding. In addition, I believe education extends beyond the classroom and I am committed to providing the necessary communication and leadership with parents and school administration.
