3rd Grade Teacher

Hi there! My name is Samantha Combs and this is my fifth year teaching at St. Mary of the Knobs. I have taught kindergarten the past four years and this will be my first year teaching third grade! I am very excited for this change in my teaching journey.

I am a member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in New Albany where I attended grade school. I also graduated from Providence High School before obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast in 2012.

I have a love for teaching young children to read, and am excited to get to experience reading at a different grade level this year. I feel blessed every day that I get to share my passion for learning with my students.

I am very excited to be starting a new year together! SMKCS is very special because I can share my faith with my students. It is truly amazing to witness their relationship with God and to share in their own journey of faith. I love my job!

We would love to have you for a visit!
