Hello, my name is Jeanne Landrum. When we opened our doors here at St. Mary of the Knobs in August 2001, I came on board as our first Kindergarten teacher. My undergraduate work was completed at Ball State University and Indiana University Southeast, and in 2005 I completed my Master’s Degree in Education at Indiana University Southeast. I continue to attend conferences and workshops each year to learn and to grow as an educator. I have enjoyed classroom experiences in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and now, 4th grade.
My husband Darin and I have two children, Nick and Syd, and we love being part of the vibrant faith community here at St. Mary of the Knobs Parish.
Fourth grade is a time of great growth and development. We move from “learning to read” to “reading to learn.” We strive to become more responsible, critical thinkers. Our classroom is a safe haven dedicated to learning, growing, and developing to the best of our ability. I will strive each day to provide an environment that is safe academically, emotionally, and socially, and my goal is to make our days challenging but also fun and interesting. We work hard as a learning community to have learning-filled, faith-building experiences each day here at SMK!
