Hi there! My name is Sammy Combs and this is my third year teaching kindergarten here at St. Mary of the Knobs!
As a lifelong catholic I grew up in New Albany and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School.
I continued my education at Providence High School.
I went on to Indiana University Southeast and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Elementary Education
in 2012. I hope to go back to school and earn my Masters in Education in the near future!
Although this is my third year teaching, I am very experienced in working with children of all ages. I have worked in daycare since I was sixteen years old. I have also been an instructional assistant, a substitute, a tutor, and a temporary teacher. I am currently tutoring and helping out in our childcare program.
I am very excited to be starting a new year together! SMKCS is special because we get the opportunity to share our faith with our students! I cannot wait to help your child grow academically and spiritually in their own faith.

Hi! My name is Stefany Bragg and this is my first year teaching kindergarten at SMKCS.
My husband and I live in Palmyra with our three children, James, Lakyn and Molly. James and Lakyn attend SMKCS. Our family is also apart of our parish and we love the parish/school connection that our family shares. I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Blackburn College in 2009. This is my ninth year of teaching. I have had a variety of experience starting in kindergarten, second grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten at SMKCS! What a joy to have the opportunity to teach little minds and share the glory of God every day! At St. Mary of the Knobs, Christ is at the center of all we do.
